Kristen Gelino is a Certified Floodplain Manager and Certified Planner. She brings more than six years of consulting experience working with a diverse array of clients to clearly articulate problems, synthesize findings, and breakdown communication barriers to develop innovative, effective solutions. Kristen is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Master of Urban Planning program and she received a B.A. from the University of Michigan, where she majored in the Program in the Environment and Political Science. Kristen’s professional experience lies in the intersection of urban planning and emergency management, with a particular focus on program management, hazard mitigation, floodplain management, and climate change adaptation.
